- Books 'n' Balls Charity Netball Tournament
12th September 2009: Nationwide

On Saturday 12th September 2009, the Books 'n' Balls charity Netball tournament, organised by Crimson Publishing took place to raise awareness and cash for two UK charities - www.booktrust.org.uk and www.cancerresearchuk.org.uk. Fair Deal Trading were happy to be part of the day by donating Ethletic Netballs.
The tournament was a massive success, and over £12,000 was raised! Helen Shelmerdine, event organizer says, “Thanks for all your support and help with our event! Everyone was especially impressed with the fair trade netballs”. Due to the success on the day, Crimson hope to repeat the tournament next year. Watch this space!
